"The Ice Cream Beat"

Hey fabs, it's been a while. Yeah! Yeah! I know. I've been extremely busy with work and school and I kind of neglected you all but guess what! I am back! Yayyyyy
So today I decided to go downtown and relax a bit. Trust me, I needed a break from this hectic summer semester.
The weather was rather a bit too hot, roughly 100 degrees but I still loved it.

So I called this look "The ice cream beat". It is simple, totally cheap, very comfy yet sassy. This entire look is roughly $60. Yes sixty bucks. So fabs you see, you don't need to break the bank to stay fabulous, all you need is to stay "FLOCUS" on the deals.

A pastor or a con artist? Inside the Creflo Dollar outrageous demand

OK let's "flocus", shall we? The Pastor who owns two Rolls-Royces pleads for 200,000 church supporters to donate '$300 or more' EACH so he can buy a $65MILLION private jet 'to better spread the gospel of Jesus Christ'

  • Reverend Creflo Dollar is the head of World Changers Church International
  • The 53-year-old preaches 'that God wants to bless the faithful with earthly riches' and the church has about 30,000 members
  • He has an estimated net worth of $27 million
  • Has appealed online for 200,000 people to donate $300 so he can buy Gulfstream G650, worth $65 million and favored by billionaires
  • Says the plane is essential for him to 'reach a lost and dying world for the Lord Jesus Christ'

The founder and leader of a controversial Atlanta-based megachurch has appealed online for 200,000 people to each donate '$300 or more' so that he can buy a $65 million private jet favored by high-flying billionaires.
Reverend Creflo Dollar, 53, is the head of the World Changers Church International, a Christian ministry centered around the prosperity gospel, which preaches that God wants to bless the faithful with earthly riches.
The televangelist, who is one of the most prominent African-American preachers in the United States, this week put a five-minute video up on his website pledging for donations for a Gulfstream G650 - which claims to be the fastest plane ever built in civilian aviation - so that 'World Changers Church International can continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace'.
Dollar - who is known to own two Rolls Royce's and multi-million dollar homes in Atlanta and New Jersey - last hit headlines in 2012, after being arrested for allegedly attacking his 15-year-old daughter.

Among the billionaires who own a Gulfstream G650 are Steve Jobs' wife Lauren Powell Jobs, Wynn Resorts CEO Steve Wynn add Nike co-founder Phil Knight.
There is a long waiting list for the aircraft, with the next round of planes not due until 2017.
According to the Creflo Dollar Ministry's website: 'The ministry's current airplane, was built in 1984, purchased by the ministry in 1999 and has since logged four million miles.
'Recently on an overseas trip to a global conference, one of the engines failed.

'By the grace of God, the expert pilot, who's flown with Creflo for almost 20 years, landed the plane safely without injury or harm to any passengers.'
The Christian Post first reported that Dollar insisted that he needs the jet to continue sharing the word of Jesus.
He preaches all over the world, but primarily works out of a 8,500-seat amphitheater in Atlanta called the 'World Dome', satelliting the sermons to churches all over the country.
The website pledge continued: 'Believe it or not, there are still millions of people on this planet who have never heard of Jesus Christ and know nothing of His greatness.'
'Our hearts desire to see precious lives changed and snatched out of darkness and thrust into His marvelous light!
'We need your help to continue reaching a lost and dying world for the Lord Jesus Christ," the appeal continued before asking supporters of the ministry to sow a $300 seed into the airplane fund, billed Project G650.'
However, according to Financial Juneteenth, a Report of the Senate Finance Committee, Minority Staff Review of WCCI, found that Dollar's current jet had also been used for a variety of vacation flights, including stops in Las Vegas, Nevada, Miami, Florida and Hawaii, citing Federal Aviation Administration figures.
Dollar has refused over the years to disclose his salary, but has an estimated net worth of $27 million.
He has five children to his wife, Taffi, who he married in 1985.

In June 2012, his 15-year-old daughter called 911, saying her father repeatedly punched and choked her at their Atlanta home.
The teenager also said it wasn't the first time something like that had happened and that she felt threatened living in the house.
Dollar was arrested and charged with family brutality and juvenile cruelty.

The charges were later dropped, but he was required to complete a three-month anger management program.
At his next sermon, two days following the arrest, Dollar spent several minutes addressing the incident, starting with: 'I will say this emphatically: I should have never been arrested.'
Dollar has strenuously denied the accusations, saying it was a family argument with 'heightened emotions'.

Trinity Broadcasting Company (TBN) is run by a Pentecostal family and I have heard they have two jets. During their fund raising, they would burn peoples debts and their listeners believed in that crap and sent them money.

How is it that when pastors want something they ask the congregation for it, but when the congregation wants something the pastors tell them to ask God. The sad thing about it - you will have people who send them the money.

He will have to answer for his selfishness. Jesus washed the feet of the apostles and rejected the idea of wealth. He said to give it ALL away to the poor with an obedient heart.

This guy is on something...way too many free or inexpensive ways to spread the Word for this request to be anything but disingenuous.

To me he is just a con artist who will have to answer to the Lord one day. If according to the Bible Jesus himself came on earth to serve people and lived a humble life who is this guy to do otherwise? and to think there are so many "weak will" people to fall for scams like this. May God help us to always be "Flocus" oops I mean "Focus" as in clever LOL! Blessed day y'all

Neighbours stand and watch as man beats his wife almost to death for cheating.

http://lindaikeji.blogspot.com/2015/03/neighbours-stand-and-watch-as-man-beats.html

I just bumped into this disturbing article on Linda Ikeji's blog (link above).

"Just saw a gruesome video online that broke my heart. Men... and even women stood and watched as this man stripped his wife to her underwear and brutally beat her with a plank. The people who posted the video online said he beat her to death, but that isn't shown in the video. The last seconds of the video shows the man dragging the very weak woman away. They said the man attacked his wife after catching her with another man. And no, it didn't happen in Nigeria. I screen-grabbed from the video. Continue to see more photos.."

I am so upset just looking at the pictures and I wonder who even took these pictures? So on top of standing and watch this horrid scene without raising a finger in attempt to save this woman, someone had the audacity to take pictures? What is going on? Can this get any crueler? I don't know who is worse in this case, this animal of a man or the heartless neighbors?

#BostonBlizzardChallenge? or #Foolishness@itsBest?

Apparently, jumping out of windows in short, into stacks of snow is the new trend. When some may find this idea of half naked people jumping and swimming in the snow quiet amusing, I personally find it hazardous, life threatening and very ridiculous. If this folks are out of fun ideas how about taking a nap? What if young kids check into this madness? I am 100% in agreement with Boston Mayor Martin Walsh who stated earlier that this must stop.
"This isn't Loon Mountain," Mayor Martin Walsh said in a news conference on Monday, referring to a New Hampshire ski resort. "This is the city of Boston, where we're trying to remove snow off of the street, and it becomes very dangerous." ABC NEWS

AM I BEING CHEATED ON? Let's "Flocus" on the signs.

While sometimes it may probably be you just being paranoid for no real reasons, there is a great chance that you can catch a cheating partner before he or she can plead guilty. Many people believe that often, the writing is on the wall but we either deliberately ignore it or we are just honestly too naive and trustful to notice them. So how can you tell whether the one you love is seeking satisfaction outside and playing you like a "soft ball"?
Trust and believe that I am no expert but according to the street professor aka folks that were once cheated on, there is this sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that tells you when something is not right.

  •  Your partner has become very distant lately
  • Keeping more and more late nights
  • Work habits change (Working late, going to work at odd hours or, putting in more time than is normal on work related issues)
  • Sudden urge for privacy
  • Freaks out when you pick up his phone just to check the time (even though he/she knows the phone has password you do not know)
  • Need space and some time to figure him/herself out
  • Secretive phone calls (more time spent on the phone)
  • Spending a large amount of time on computer than usual
  • Can't commit
  • Agree on a plan then backs out
  • Always giving excuses as to why your date should be cancelled
  • One particular person always like his/her pictures on Facebook
  • Plans trip but does not give you a concrete reason as to why you can come along
  • He/She complains about your weight more often now
  • Has more friends of the opposite sex
  • Paying extra attention to the way He/She looks
  • Overly nice or extremely angry than usual
  • Extremely excited while heading to work
  • Say things He/She cannot keep up with
  • Tells you He/She is going to bed early and can't stay on the phone with you as usual (this happens every night for the past few weeks umm He/She is definitely talking to someone else)
Ok! apparently the list is quiet long but hope you took note of one or two things from this list and please by all means if you have other signs to add on to my list feel free and leave it in the comment section below.
                                                                                                Always keeping you flocused
